City Praise & Prayer first began in 2013. Over the last nine years, we have been drawing Christians together twice a year from across Coventry and the surrounding region, to worship together and to pray with one voice for the Kingdom of God to come in our city and beyond. This is very much a ‘combined churches’ event, organised and led by various church leaders from different denominations and networks, and typically attracting several hundreds of believers from scores of different congregations.

On Sunday 15 May 2022, we took City Praise & Prayer beyond the walls of a physical church building for the first time - gathering over 1200 believers from churches across the city to pray and worship in Coventry’s famous Cathedral Ruins. The event was a truly momentous occasion, that will be remembered for many years to come. We hope to release some audio and video content over the coming weeks, so please keep an eye out for this.
