A huge thank you to all those who joined us on Sunday 5 July for City Praise & Prayer at Butterworth Hall.
What a significant and powerful time of praise, prayer and declaration as we contended for 'open doors to the Gospel', the 'salvation of souls' in our city, 'peace on our streets' and the 'next generation'. It was so good to lift up the Name of Jesus together and to cry out for the Kingdom to come.

City Praise & Prayer gathers Christians from all denominations, networks and streams, to lift up Jesus together in praise and worship and to pray with one voice for the Kingdom of God to come in the city of Coventry and beyond.
The Central Gatherings began in November 2013 as part of a remarkable ‘unity-movement’ among the churches in Coventry, and have continued twice per year since then. Since 2022 we have gathered outdoors in early summer and indoors during the autumn – typically drawing together several hundred believers from scores of different churches.
In April 2024, the first Youth City Praise & Prayer began for 11-18’s and in September 2024 Regional Gatherings were launched in the North, South, East and West of Coventry.
All gatherings are led by leaders, musicians, singers and technicians from different churches, working together.
We believe that prayer changes things, united prayer is especially powerfully in towns and cities, and that praise is part of our spiritual warfare!
